I've noticed this new BOV is out. Is it more like the Type S or Type RS? Does anyone know what boost this bov can handle? I want one that'll work on low and high boost (without leaking).

I have a TypeS right now, and it sucks. I think there is something wrong with it though. But I have a Greddy BOV flange so it seems easy to just go with an RS if it's what i'm looking for.

I need one that can do around 8-20psi.

Did you mean "is it more like the Type S or Type R? As far as I know the Type S has a 37mm valve whereas the RS is a 40mm and the R is 47mm. RS looks like it maybe comes with adapters to allow recirculation without having to purchase separate parts. 8 discharge ports that seem to draw in air to amplify the sound. It seems reasonably priced too. If I was in the market for a new BOV, I'd most likely go with it. Just out of curiosity, do you have the bottom nipple of your type S connected to a pre-t-body source?

This helps more than most people realize. Those that say "oh everyone leaves this disconnected", don't really know.

I thought that just helped it blow off at low boost better. My main problem is leaking at high boost.

What difference does this make? What do you mean by pre-t-body source?

Pre-throttle body. A boost only source. The valve has always been more responsive and actually changes the tone a bit when I hook up the bottom nipple to boost and top to vacuum. I think it has to do with positive pressure pushing on the valve, to help it along while it is pulled by vacuum on the other end. Seriously, try it.
