I'm installing a GReddy auto turbo timer in my S13 and I don't have the optional harness, so I'm soldering the connections in myself. Has anyone done this install in their car before, or one like it?? Basically I just need to find out which wires are which; there's 5 wires on the ignition switch: 12V, ACC, ON, ON, START. I need to wire 3 wires to the 12V, ON, and ON wires. I don't have a voltmeter so I'm not quite sure which is which.

I'm pretty sure I have a good idea of which wires do what, but I wanted to ask you guys first, see if anyone has done such an install before. Input???

yea, i didn't have a harness and soldered the TT wires directly.

it's easy, all you need is a test light.

find the ignition harness in your steering column and test the wires.

I should have kept track of which wires you need to cut into... because i've seen questions like this before.

IIRC, one is accessory, which means w/one turn of your key, you can turn your headlights on.

then, the other is the "on". so with one more turn, your radio will work.
