ok, a few questions here for anyone who has installed one, i finish the install and it doesnt turn on with accesories or when i start the car /sigh double checked and triple checked connections.

other question on the install, is the speed sensor. does the Ka24de "1991 240 hatch" have a speed sensor on the ECU? its realy the only way i whould get the vehicle speed display to work. until i can get the thing to even beep at me its a mute point but its a question i been wondering all day.

anywho. long day been messing with that pig

What did you connect the power and negative to on the timer?

In the DE, I believe (at least on my 95) The speedo signal goes from the VSS (Vehicle speed sensor) on the transmission, to the speedo gauge, to the ECU.

i hooked it to the ignition ground wire. basicly scotch locked the constant, ground, acc, and ignition and taped in to each going to the timer. turned the car on and... nothing.

Ditto on that, and be sure to check all your connections, again.

well tomarrow im going to just hook it up to 2 hot 12v "to constant and acc" and the groud, i need to know if its wired wrong, or the whole piece is fried. no sence trouble shooting a piece that is craped out.

hmm ok if i do get it running, damn well the signal from the VSS is an analog signal than and wont be read by the timer. was hoping to use the digital speedo function on it.

thanks alot for the help btw =)
