I just purchased a greddy timer for my 300zx and was wondering how much of a pain in the butt it will be to put in?

It's pretty straightforward. Just mainly wire splices. It should have come with a "how-to" booklet. If not, it's pretty much the same as for any other car.

I hope you bought the adapter as well. It is much simpler to install as only 2 wires need to be spliced if you have it.

That should be it. Each one has an adapter harness that converts the wiring to the specific car. It should simply connect into the connector under the steering wheel. It avoids having to cut into the factory harness.

That's the one. You get a manual with it or no?

What wires do you splice it into?

Hey I just wanted to mention with the Greddy TT...DO NOT jump your car with the timer plugged in. Unhook it if possible.

Does it fry the timer or something? But gnzoah the harnesses are only like ten bucks to.save you from splicing any wires. Just too let you know

Well it doesn't fry it but I have had to jump my car a number of times (Thought it had a power drain but it ended up just being the battery.) The first time I jumped it the TT stopped working. It wouldn't turn on or anything. The next time I jumped the car it started working again and so on. When I went months without jumping my car it wasn't working. I know I know, why didn't you just unhook it? It wasn't until my friend screwed up the mounting job by pulling off the face that I could get at it.
So I guess it doesn't wreck it but it is a hassle.

The turbo timer should have at least one wire that is spliced into the parking brake. You may additional depending on the features of your unit...
