Not legal yet. They are looking for legality using a 96-98 engine/ECU.Physically it will bolt up to any 240 with a KA24DE.

So if you are looking for legality in any year previous to 96-98 that means transplanting an engine/ECU and emmisions controls from 96-98 into your older 240. Don't even think of doing this until Greddy specifically says the kit is legal for the 96-98. If you buy it now when its not yet legal, they will not offer you the sticker that makes it legal once they pass it.I guess they could, I just do not see that reasonably happening. You could always call and ask.

When did it turn legal? Have you called Greddy to get the actual word? I am interested because I wish to turbo my 240 also.

Still waiting for CARB approval. Very expensive, time consuming process. God Damn California ruins it for everyone. No offense to anyone living in the state but could California hurry up and fall into the ocean.

I hate this state too. Maybe I can be cool and move out to arizona, just like the fast and the furious... oh but wait.

No Offense to AZ peeps

I also hate california, us and our stupid hill in LA simulation for smog. Thanks to us, and us alone, there is stuff like this greddy kit out there that is still illegal.

On behalf of cali, I would like to apologize for our stupid smog laws, regardless of the fact that its making it easier for asthma people like me to breathe.

This post was not sarcastic except for the little part about the F&F

I have a lil bit of Asthma, the kind that you cough instead of wheeze. We dont have emissions here in SC but the air is clean. about 10% pollution at the most at times.

What do the smog laws have to do with everyone else? The Kit is available, but not in CARB legal form. CARB EO numbers do not necessarily apply to other states.

And by the way, if California falls in, NV and AZ become beach front property. However, they get the rockies to trap smog.

I called greddy 3 mos ago, and they said it should be CARB exempted in 3-6 mos. It's only CARB legal if it's in 95 <
