I know that probably alot of you have been waiting to see the turbo kit that greddy claims they were making. I am now planning to turbo a KA motor for my s14 and was wondering when it was going to be released since its been in production for a while now. well, I have good news for all of you who have been waiting for it. I work at a greddy distributor and decided to give them a call to find out what the hold up is. I spoke with a rep and found out that the kit is complete and ready for distribution. Greddy USA is now waiting on the first shipment of kits from Japan where they are produced. They said they were expecting the shipment to arrive late this month, but realistically they probably wouldn't have them until mid June. Hope this info helps some of you who were waiting for this kit.:ylsuper

from all the info i got on it so far it seems like a pretty good kit. The june issue of SCC has a write up of most kits available for imports. I think i am gonna wait on the greddy but its a toss up between it and the turbonetics kit.

nissankindaguy you should just browse this forum as much as you can and that will give you enough knowledge to at least get yourself started. as for you nismofan14, the greddy kit seems excellent except for two problems. the price will probably be rediculously high because of what the kit contains(fmic w/ piping, injectors, turbo, intake and intake mani., and even an e-manage piggyback fuel computer). The other downside is that the injectors are only 370cc which isn't very good for high boost, but they are an excellent start. I'll probably build my own kit based on turbonetics parts, but good luck to anyone who does go with the greddy kit.

do they make a turbo kit that fits a s13 fastback 91+ ka24de , because if I'm guessing right this kit is for 95-98....

the engines are the same for both chassis', but the kit comes w/ an intercooler and piping and that's why it's for the '95-'98 or s14 chassis.

Greddy kit also doesn't seem like it'll be worth it when it comes out, regardless of what it comes with. Best bet is to just piece a kit together seperately from turbonetics.

SCC has the greddy kit in the article and they said that the intercooler and piping along with the BOV and flange are sold seperatly. This is the main reason i will more than likely go turbonetics. There still will be some changes I make to the turbonetics kit but they said that they can make it to my specifications.

go to borders/barnes and noble/amazon

buy Maximum Boost by Corky Bell

that book is as easy as it gets (when i first read it I thought it was complicated but since then I have learned a great deal more)
