Greddy Turbo Kit Problems

I would like everyone to list all of the individual problems with the Greddy Turbo Kit they have personally had. This is just a reference guide to problems others have already had, not a troubleshooting thread. By seeing what other difficulties exist, we can email our fellow members and proceed from there. Please keep this on topic, I'll be reading this alot and deleting any posts I feel don't need to be here.

Registered: Oct 2002Location: Deltona, FloridaPosts: 239Car: 98 240SX SE Need help with turbo I FINALLY finished putting in my GReddy Trubo Kit last night. It started right up first try, then died. It turns on and revs to like 2k rpm starts to come down to 1k then dies like i have no gas. this all happens within about 5-8 seconds. So I tried a couple more times to start it and it always does the same. I tried givin it some gas to keep the idle up, but as soon as i crack the throttle open it dies. I have the GReddy Turbo Kit, FMIC, GReddy Type S BOV, GReddy Boost Control, GReddy Turbo Timer. Any Ideas, I tried searching and didnt see anything like this, I saw similar problems but nothing exacly like it, cause it sound like it has no gas when it dies.

The only long lasting problem with the Greddy kit has been an irregular idle. Short term problem was the lack of instructions and Greddy's absolutely horrible tech support. Other than that it has done me very well and the price has gone down considerably so I think it's definitely a good competitor to the other kits. I have a tuning session in the next couple weeks so I'll gladly share my new maps to help correct the idle problem.
