I am pretty sure the internals are the same, and if they aren't, for the cost of the basic off the shelf forged pistons, you can have fully custom made forged pistons, for $800-1000 you can have fully custome pistons for whatever compression ratio you want, and that includes rings, pins and locksR350Zz33 wrote:i did a search for vq35hr forged internals nothin
Ahh alright cause i've seen pictures of a single kit installed on a VQ by itself (not in the car) and it looked like the turbo was only bolted onto one manifold with no kind of pipe feeding it from the other manifold. Which would be a stupid idea which is why i wanted to clarify. ThanksR350Zz33 wrote:i went and looked at some pictures of 350z turbo kits and this single turbo kit from hks for the 350z seems to have 2 exhaust manifolds so i'm guessing that it benefits from both.
+1 took my wordsevildky wrote:you might not have seen the second feed but all single systems use the exhaust form both sides to powere the turbo
