Does anyone have one of these for their SR? Any tips on install? What does it do... ie. can you set the speed at which it cuts? Or does it remove it altogether?

Thanks... Martin.

As quoted from the Greddy website:"GReddy BCC & SCC allow the factory ECU limiters to be eliminated."

So sounds to me like they remove it all together.

Yeah, I read that, but since they were lumping the two together I wondered if the description was accurate, or if a "contreller" actually allowed you to "control" the setpoint.

Just out of curiousity...why do you want to set it at a different point rather than just eliminate it altogether?

Don't know really, but maybe if my wife was driving it, I might want to set it at 80mph MAX!

So does anyone know about the install?

I think that is a great idea.. That could be used to do a couple of things. Speeding yourself, for valet drivers, and the dreaded lending out of the car to a friend. (wait....i never do that)

They just lie to the computer, while you are hurtling down the road at 150mph the computer thinks you are doing 50mph. If you are planning no further mods to the computer it's functional but if you are going to go SAEM or have the ROM tuned just have the speed cut disabled while the tech is in there.
