Just got my EBC installed and welll.... it's not that easy to get the settings right. I think. I've set the EBC but it will only boost in 3rd gear and up as in 1st and 2nd gear just stays in stock boost. Is it supposed to be like that?? are all EBC's like that?? I hope not. Cause with my turboXS controller I just get boost thru all my gears. I have stable boost that's the good but I want it thru all my gears. what's wrong with my settings if it's my settings??

read the manual.

start small when first adjusting settings.

what gear your in makes no difference to the turbo.

How are you setting the EBC? 3 settings should be Set Boost, Gain, Start Boost. Set Boost is used to increase the boost, Gain is used to control the valve sensitivity (boost drop off or creep), and the Start boost is used to sopposably hold the wastegate shut, helping spool time. Start boost isnt needed at all. I just use the first 2. Adjust the Set Boost first, and then adjust the Gain setting to control the boost creep or boost drop off to stabalize it. Since this EBC doesnt have gear dependent boost control, you will have slightly different boost numbers for each gear. Be sure to set the EBC in 3rd or 4th gear.
