I have a red top SR20 with the stock T25, fmic, and bov. I'm having trouble getting my profec b spec II set correctly. I'm wanting to run 7psi of low boost and 12psi of high boost if anyone is using the same boost controller with similar upgrades please let me know how you have your settings any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Do you have it displaying in PSI mode? If so, you'll never get it to operate correctly. Set the display mode to KPa.

I don't remember all the settings off the top of my head. I had a profec b spec 2 in my last car, but that was over a year ago.

I've seen a real good article on a DSM site on how to set up the spec 2...I'll try digging it up.

If you want to be simple, there are two settings that you need to change to set the boost on the Profec B. You first start out by setting the start boost. I think its the only thing on there other than for the warning setting that is an actual boost pressure. What the setting this will do is that the wastegate/actuator will not open at all unti this pressure. The key thing here is to set the start boost at less than the boost pressure that you want. After that, all you pretty much need to do is raise the gain setting to get more boost. Just make sure you set the warning settings before you start messing around with the boost. As long as you set the warning to something low, I dont think you can kill your motor by boosting too much. I have the profec on my car and I run .7 bar low and .9bar high. Although lots of people say that you can run 1 bar with a FMIC, I think the injectors get maxed out around .8 bar
