i went to start my SR after swaping it and it started shooting oil out i saw the problem to be a hole where a screw should go in the part when you screw your oil filter on and greddy is ingraved in it i couldnt find a screw to fit it so i just put some RTV in the hole anyone ever heard of this?

The screw is for the Oil pressure sensor. I wouldnt use RTV. If at all possible, remove it and go down to ACE hardware and put a bolt into it or get a gauge and thread into it.

Dont trust just RTV. Please. No Oil + Running SR = No Bueno.

Yes it will. They are not fancy looking but very reliable gauges

ok sorry so let me get this straight...what your talking about is, you have a greddy oil cooler kit, with relocation? And it already has a part to easily install a oil pressure sensor right?

Where did you buy it?Thanks

Just take the the thing off and head down to your local hardware store. from what i can remember, the hole is tapped to pipe thread, so you will need to go to the plumbing section because i dont think a normal screw will work. but i may be wrong, it has been a while.

lol, i cant believe they where talking about sealing the hole with rtv!

just to let everyone know...the oil pressure sensor wasnt my problem it was infact a bolt that blocks off where the oil cooler line goes was missing.
