Just purchased this from 240xmotoring and awaiting its arrival. I also purchased an adapter to use my oil pressure gauge in this, but dont know which port to mount it in? I plan on using the top two ports for my oil cooler..so which bottom one do i use for the oil pressure sensor??

I can't see the sensor bungs. Most sandwich adapters have two holes with different sizes. Either will work, just use the one your sensor will thread into.

I have seen some that have a big hole with a plug threaded in that has a smaller hole. You should be fine. Senders only come in a few common sizes.

I would put it on the return side. It looks like both sides see pressure but if one would read lower, I would expect the side on the cooler return to be it.

Oh, I see. I would put it on the feed side.

You kids get the cool stuff. Back in the day we had to stack two purpose-built sandwich adapters. We didn't have one that did it all.

lol bottom right in pic it is. i thought maybe the thermostat being closed would obstruct the flow to the sensor or something so i wasn't sure. I'll get ahold of the boys at 240sxmotoring just to be sure and what not. Thanks again TMS

TMS you can stack adapters? I thought about it the other day but it was a totally random thought haha. I have no need to and don't think I ever will, I just thought about having like 5 sandwiches in there.

OP you've got a pretty nice sandwich for your feed line. I'm hungry...LOL GET IT?

Of course. A good adapter should allow you to use your normal filter so just screw one adapter to the other than the filter.

I was thinking of getting something like this. But I don't know. I'm looking for a block/sandwich plate that has a built in thermo and that can run a remote filter and hook up two gauges via 1/8 NPT ports. Am I asking for too much?

Also is there some sort of "splitter" that allows you to use two sensors on one port?

there are 4 10AN ports on this. I purchased a Greddy adapter to 1/8npt from 240sx motoring when i bought this for my oil pressure gauge, and am mounting my oil temp gauge in the pan, but you could just buy another adapter and mount the temp sensor there if you wished.

I wont be installed for awhile, but i'll be sure to post back.

kouki munster fails, sadly. Not only did someone post a link that answered my question, but the one you posted isn't even the same adapter as the picture i posted above. Sorry..

Not really, if you use your brain and go to frsports web sight you could compair pictures of the one I posted and the one you have, then figure it out on your own instead of having someone spoon feed you the info.

And excuse me for not reading the whole thread and clicking on every link before posting.

lol, thats not even close to being the same thing. I have this adapter on my KA. Car doesn't run yet, so I have no input as to how well it works, but at least on my car, i didn't need to use the extra ports. I took out the idiot switch pressure sensor, and put my own sensor for a gauge in there, and there was a plug on the oil stand right below it that i took out and threaded my oil line for the turbo into.

To answer maj's question, most sensors youse 1/8" Male Pipe Thread, so you can go to a hardware store and find a female 1/8npt T and a male to male 1/8npt and you will have 2 ports instead of 1.
