So I'm about to buy the greddy intake manifold and I was wanting to use the stock blow off valve.

i was looking at it and it looks like i might beable to use the stock pipe that the blow off valve attatches to.

i woudl just put that pipe connecting to the trottle body going downward to connect to some bends and into the intercooler.

has anyone done this? it looks possible.

does anyone have a suggestions as to where they put the blow off valve.

You can use the Stock bov, but it is ussually ****. The diaphragm in the stock valves get old and the weak from sitting too long and leak air after awhile past a certain amount of boost ( typically low ) With the amount of work it takes to make a pipe for it you're better off getting an aftermarket one.

well my stock bov works fine for now ive had it for a while. i actually have a top fule bov that i got for free.

i was just wondering if i could use the stock pipe so i dont have to buy a hot pipe with the flange for the bov already in it.

I see BOV's all the time over here in the stock location on the same flange. They all suck though. Greddy Type R or nothing IMO.

Then don't run one. The aren't needed, especially in the short term.

Remember that the stock bypass valve needs to recirculated. It can not be vented to atmosphere like aftermarkets...

well i already bought the greddy manifold and the only reason im using it is caues i got a new turbo manifold, top mount and i cant keep the stock piping so its just easier to get the greddy manifold.

i think im just gonna use that little stock pipe and just run alot of hose to make it recirculate. till i can buy a new ic pipe set up

I know this is old, but any chance you still have the greddy manifold with the Q45 TB?
