I've been running the greddy kit for almost a year now. I'm thinking about adding some cams new down pipe. Id'e like to adjust the fuel map just a bit to trim it. At 8 psi my injectors are at 100% duty cycle. The emanage is locked out. I called greddy and they said I cant get the password because it will void the carb certifacation (pending). Does anyvody know the password or have a copy of the og maps that are in the e-manage.

Sorry for the long wind..

Gregg

you have the e-manage support tool and are hooked up to a laptop right? the support tool manual mentions a map erase option under settings>security settings that will get rid of the password but it also resets all your maps. I suggest you copy all the data before resetting the password so you have a basemap to work off of. i believe upgrading the software/firmware deletes the password too.

Hmm... Mine had no password... Do you have the laptop program? (I think you said no)

But if you do I might be able to save my map and send it to you...

Be aware that an upgraded downpipe may cause you some big issues. I know that myself and Red included have both run into issues with boost creep while using a 3" DP and cat. The isssue is the turbine housing design that makes the wastegate very inefficent.

As far as the eManage goes I say unlock and build your own maps. I unlocked mine so I could add a ignition harness. Be aware that you will probably need to add a TPS wire to the harness. I have tons of maps that I can send you if you get the support tool. In regards to a CARB EO how would they ever know if you unlocked the thing....?

On a side not Red what is your best dyno numbers to date, and how does the car run now that you have the external gate on there? I think I am going to swap turbine housings on mine to one that has a deticated wastegate exit.

I dont have a dyno # as of late... I'm scared it will suck... haha! (I am having a new Test pipe made with a flex section in it. As soon as thats done I'm going to pull out my silencer and go for the power pull...)

The Tial 38mm wastegate solved my creep issue. and its purty.

I also solved the issue of the turbine side... cheaper then buying one and sending it for cryo again.

Purty no?

Enough about me... jdzumwalt get the software and I'll send you my tune... it will be on the lean side for normal 370's tho. I have upped my base pressure a bit so I cound hit 12psi with them. Also my tune sucks cuz I have done it all myself... I refuse to pay someone $$ to tune this POS computer. (that and i'm lazy)

Nothing wrong with doing your own tuning Red...nothing at all. I like the fact that I can say I built the manifold and did all my own piping. Not to mention using a Mustang fuel rail with Mustang injectors all controlled via SAFCII.

Gives me a sense of pride.

Hey guys... I've had the Greddy kit on my car for a couple months. I have the boost set at 8 lbs with the FMIC, so basically it's not touched in terms of boosting it higher yet. Now, I had the engine built (bored out 030 over, Ross 8.5 :1 pistons, micropolished crank, turbo cams) with the intention of boosting it to 1bar plus.I am having a sard fuel pump installed, and I have a set of 440 rc injectors to drop in when the 370's prove to be maxxed out.

My question is this, for those of you who have done some tuning and have some thoughts on this, knowing what you know now, where would you recommend I start? I have the e-manage (of course) and I bought the tuning tool, as well as a copy of the orig base map. I also bought the harness so i can control timing, but I haven't installed that yet. Let me know if I should start a new thread- I am not really a forums kind of guy.

Thanks a lotjon
