I went to Greddy website, and i saw they are coming out a turbo kit for KA motor, when i e-mail Greddy, they reply and tell me it will be coming out spring 2003, but they didn't tell me anything like price or specs of the kit. i am just wondering, anyone knows how much will it cost and the specs?also, when the Greddy kit come out, is the other 3 kits (XS, F-max, and Nsport) price going to be drop because they have a new competition? what do you guys think?

I think that this is the much anticipated kit from greddy. They have been holding it off for a very long time. I am pretty sure that this is the one kit for the KA that is CARB certified.

yay, we get a kit after 3 or 4 years of waiting, with greddy's horrible techincal suport and a manifold that will surly crack within 4 months.

At least it's carb legal.....

stainless, but like I said don't expect much out of it, everybody I know with a greddy manifold is dealing with cracks on a regular bassis. And after dealing with their tech suport while tunning my Emanage I can't really say anything nice about them and their turbo parts.

I still might run Greddy guages though, and their headgasket in my CA wasn't that bad......

if you cut expansion reliefs in the manifold you shouldn't have any problems...

What makes the greddy CARB certified vs FMAX or NSport or another company that makes kits

Paying to have it go through the tests that CARB requires and making it pass. It's generally rather expensive to do for a small shop. You would have to have an expectation of enough sales to even bother trying to get it.

LOL, Greddy has been saying that there kit will be ready by spring for the past couple of years. good luck. I would think that Greddy would be at the bottom of my list if going with kits. I would think XS would probably be at the top.
