I've never seen this discussed before.

What should I do about capping off the stock blow-off valve pipe on my GReddy FMIC piping ?

I'll be using a type-s BOV on the hot pipe. Can I find a vaccum cap that big ? Would it hold with a pipe clamp ?

I think thats for the large hose next to the throttle body. The hose off the AAC valve (idel control unit). You need to have that hooked up.

No.. that is the bov weld on point, its on the hot side.Go to Walmart, purchase a pack of 2 White Rubber Chair leg things.. You know those things you put on chairs to keep them from scratching the floor? White ones fit with a ton of lubrication and effort. Apply hose clamp and you have a perfectly cheap airtight seal.

I forget the size of the hole, measure it first. Then go to Pep Boys and go to their misc. vacuum/screws section. Where they sell the "Help!" parts. There are rubber plugs of different sizes. There's a nut on the end of these plugs that you can tighten down and the plug will expand out to the size of your hole. Works great.

Thank you Cyberkreig & Luke.

Thats funny too. I had used a chair leg cap as a vaccum cap on my old car.

I used the vaccum plugs from discount auto parts but there are no in between sizes and the size that fits the whole doesnt expand enough. So get the one that is just a bit to big and grind off part of the rubber on a grinding wheel or something similar! Worked perfect after that!
