people have eye-balled the manifold up to the KA and said it should work with some minor modifications but i dont think it has been confirmed that it will work yet. i dont think anyone makes a manifold for the KA unless your willing to pay a good amount of money which will make it not worth the it.

Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather keep my stock manifold. I don't know, but I wouldn't want to sacrifice torque for top end power.

yea, id say if you try to make the KA a top end motor your going to end up spending as much if not more money than just going with the SR that will deliver top end.

you can make a KA a top end motor. Its called cams. Aftermarket cams like ones from Jim Wolf will lose bottom end torque in sacrifice for top end increase. Now if you are talking about how high the motor will rev, thats a different story. You can have a car that makes plenty of bottom end power but has a high redline.

yea, by top end i kinda meant higher rpms which the KA doesnt like so much due to the long stroke

Tha KA could still benefit from a cam that can move the peak torque to about 5000 RPM and keep the torque strong until about 7000 RPM. As I've preached on these boards many times, higher RPM's with a given amount of torque at higher RPM's will produce more HP.
