Okay, I have a the greddy full auto timer, without the harness.Directions say-- red--12V Blue-- Switched "on" Green-- Switched "Acc"

I did all this,, timer works but and everyone with a 240 knows, after you turn your car off, you have to push the button and unlock the key. So the timer keeps the car running in the "off" postion but I whne I unlock the key it turns it off.

If this is not clear enough just say so, ill try an explain better

Do you have the wire hooked to the parking brake? I had a similar problem and thought it was related to the ignition or my alarm. Turned out that someone had spilt something on the parking brake, and it wasn't making good connection. I used some light sand paper to clean up the connection and it works great now.

I am lazy and just spent the extra 15bucks and got the harness.

I got the timer used and went to greddy.com and they didnt have a harness for a 95 240.

Where can I get the harness?

that's the HKS one that I got. He needs one for a Greddy. I guess Greddy has no love for us S13/S14 owners. I found them for 300ZX but that was it on the nissan side.

i'd be willing to bet dollars to dounuts that you should move the switched power to a different power source.. don't take my word for it, but it's just what sounds right in my head....

How too install a TT with out a harness? Get a test light get your key. Take off the cover for the Sterring colom and with out the key off poke around the ignition harness till you find a constant power thats your +12v, The flick the key to acc and poke around till you find another wire thats only on when that comes on. The click to on the find another wire thats only on when the key is in the on postion. BAM! your done.

did you check that connection to the e brake? that thing was killing me till I figured it out. Does your car have a factory kill switch, or an alarm?
