I can't find a list of what's what in any of the manuals on greddy's website.

I know the first one (From the left) is number of cylinders, 2nd and 3rd ones are "airflow type selector". the manual I'm looking at from greddy just says "set the above selector according to the vehicle signal location chart", which I can't find. google only finds copies of the guide when searching for "vehicle signal location chart".

Any ideas here? This isn't going into a 240sx at the moment, I have a car I want to test the unit on.

yes, i've read through practically every manual on there. apparently http://www.mohdparts.com had a great community and plenty of guides on there - but has since been shut down for some reason. i can't find any more resources worth looking at for this thing.

i have seen that table, but the car i'd like to test it out on isn't on the list.

the part that really confuses me though - is the on the tables on 1246 at the end with the config for certain vehicles, the first dial does NOT match up with the number of cylinders in the engine. in 1245, dial 1 says it is the "number of cylinder selector". for a 240sx, it says that has 3 cylinders. for a 300zx it says that has 7 cylinders.

the only thing i can think of is the "number of cylinder selector" is not actual NUMBER of cylinders, but i guess type of engine/ignition or something...this piece is so confusing. bah.

i know this is a really old article..but i thought this info i stumbled around looking for would help someone.....the rotary switch settings can be found on the wire diagram whn you look at the nissan pin outs it will tell you what diagram goes to what engine..if you look at that discritption it has colums modle, chasis, year, engine code, sensor type,SWITCH SETTING, ecu...in that order...what you do is look and find your engine code..we will use the S14 ka24de for this example...go to where is says {Switch setting} ..when you look at your emanage from left to rite is #1 to #3 rotary switch..the switch setting for the ka24de S14 is (2-0-6) so the first switch gets rotated to the number 2 and second switch to zero and the third switch to number 6...this should make looking up your engine type and setting those switches easyer...hope this helps.
