Dose anyone know what safe temps should be for an sr motor? The only internal I have is a gredy headgasket. Im using a greddy egt gauge as well so its in celcius. I just have no idea if im running at safe temps or not with how its tunned. I guess most importantly i need to get on a dyno, bu till then im relying on my egt? anyone know?

I have never been past 775C; I have the same gauge.

I'd say between 700-800 at WOT is pretty much the norm.

I installed mine on the #4 exhaust runner.

And if you want to install it, you better know how to use a tap to make a threaded hole for EGT bung.
