i was wondering what exactly this thing is. It is my understanding that it is a boost controller, a fuel controller, and can be used to monitor boost, RPM, air/fuel, throttle position...

antway is there anyone running this thing that can tell me what exactly it does. it seems like this would be the way to go versus a fuel controller like the power FC and a boost controller like the AVC-R like i was planning to go. its cheaper and just as efficient.

also has anyone used or have any experience with the innovative turbo systems boost controller. this looks like a good boost controller being able to adjust boost by gear and all. anyway just wondering. heres a link about it.http://innovativeturbo.com/cgi...73046

thanks.

my bad, i was thinking of a different product, i meant the profec e-01. I have a magazine that says its a boost controller as well as a fuel computer and a monitor?am i mistaken?

ok i think i get it, the profec e-01 is the boost controller and links to the e-manage, but you can control the fuel thru the lcd screen on the preofec e-01...is this correct?also is this a good setup?

Im running the E-01/E-Manage on an RB20 and it works great. I havent done tuning on the fuel maps yet, but you can adjust them from the LCD screenwith 16x16 maps and zoom to make it easier on the eyes.

One piece of advice though, get the external signal harness and the ingnition harness (about 60 bux total). The signal harness is to get a throttle position for the air flow map and the ingnition harness can do + or - 20 degrees of timing, plus MAY be able to run as an injector harness too (havent tried yet, Ill tell you next week ). The injector harness can control duty cycle and upgraded injectors, as well as additional injectors if you need/have em.

So far, with only using the EBC features, its an awesome set up. You can set hi/lo boost for three different maps stored on the supplied SD card, and set gain (to keep the curve level) and start boost (to spool quicker) for each one. Auto mode works fine, or you can use RPM points to make your own boost curve.

The SD card also holds three different E-Manage set-ups, so you can have fuel/ignition/injector maps for, say, street/drag/race, and keep them saved until you need them, then its only a matter of loading them and sending the info to the E-manage (about two minutes).

All in all, its a steal
