eh? this is supposed to work?

that little highlighted nub up in there is the TIP of the O2 sensor with it threaded all the way in. I feel that I should probably shorten the bung so its in the exhaust stream more (I can shorten it almost a half inch), but if the consensus is that this is supposed to be fine then i'll just leave well enough alone.

The bung is like that to purposefully remove the tip of the sensor out of the path of the exhaust. Reason being to lessen the restriction in the path of exhaust flow. by shortening the bung, youd be defeating the purpose of buying the greddy elbow. I think the o2 sensor still will read just fine, i wouldnt worry.

I think its like that because the Greddy turbo elbow is made for the s14 sr20det which use's a bigger O2 sensor,And the little adapter that comes with the elbow is for a Exhaust temp gauge,But im running a greddy turbo elbow on my s13 sr and the O2 sensor fits like yours,And it works perfect. You sould be good to go

I know Redtops use a skinny O2 sensor which I thought was what the adapter is for. Blacktops (like i have) and S14 SR's use the fatter, more common (by my standards anyway) style.
