Its mild steel. Im not a particular fan of coated exaust peices but it will work just fine and will last a long while.

If your looking for a stainless steel alternative, the heavythrottle down pipe is stainless steel and $159

I think all of them are copies of the Greddy peice anyway...I know the Project Silvia dp is and I'm 99% sure the HT one is as well.

the project silvia dp i got for 140 and it's all stainless. better alternatives out there than the mild steel stuff. It's an issue for me since the area I live in has a really high salt content (live by the beach) and it'll eat the mild steel like Oprah eating a snickers bar.

He's a liar. I don't know what else to tell you...I've been getting the run-around now for a while. The most recent excuse is that the Greddy turbine extension is 'in stock' (at Greddy, not with him) but Greddy is holding them for some reason (BS). I sent him an email this morning asking about the status of my order...he usually takes 24 hours to reply so I'll let you know what he says tomorrow. Hopefully he actually did get them and they'll ship soon. *Crosses fingers*

That's good news...I'm coming up to the promised 30 day mark in only a few days though. Might have to leave some negative feedback...

Well, I think the elbow just shipped out to me. I got a delivery notice for a 2.0lb box from 'Drift Speed'...I'm assuming that's them. Still no exhaust. If I had to get one before the other, I'd rather have the elbow anyway...install will be really easy with the engine out of the car!

It's from an automated email system from UPS. I got it yesterday at 8:00pm eastern time. Like I said, I ordered mine a good while ago, so he probably shipped older orders first.

They guy i bought my coilovers from (local guy) said this when i ordered my coilovers...

ME: "3 days to get to my house are you serious?!"HIM: "Yah Tien is verry good about shipping quickly."ME: "Thats cool I wish everyone was like that"HIM: "Definately... Greddy is the worst of anyone, They take forever"

I'm not trying to defend the guy on e-bay but I know the guy i got my coilovers from personally and he has no reason to lie to me about that type of thing. Tien really did take about 3 days and he gave me a BIG discount on the coilovers...

This isn't total BS. A lot of after market parts guys can't afford to keep a huge stock onhand. So they go by what the company tells them. I had a "problem" with Greddy saying that they had 1.2mm headgaskets in stock, and then I had to wait three weeks because "in stock" sometimes means, "On a boat in the Pacific Ocean."

My Greddy Oil Pan took about a month to get to me. I think it really is Greddy. I bought it from JGY Customs which did an excelent job.

hmmmm.. well the guys i talked to seemed nice so maybe i should cut them some slack w/ the whole greddy situation. i have been pounding on them for the stuff. just makes me a little mad that they said in stock for the blitz downpipe but its not even gonna be in til mis NEXT week and i won the auction last week. as for the greddy extension they said they shipped it out today and unlike dori dori i STIIL have no email from UPS with a tracking number!

hey dori i was wondering when the tracking number said it would arrive at your house, since we are both in Florida? maybe they made a mistake and the email didn't go through (* crosses fingers*)

I have a problem with people selling out of stock items on ebay. I don't care about the company providing stock to these people... To me, selling out of stock items through an ebay auction is lame. Also realize that I am getting the Greddy turbo extension before my RSR exhaust and I bought the RSR exhaust before the Greddy piece!

vboyq, last I checked the tracking, it didn't have an expected delivery time...I won't be able to check it again until Monday though (it's on an email to my work address). I'll let you know what's up then. :)
