I want to find out if my Greddy Breather Tank is installed right. Any help is appreciated. I already raised it some but I need to raise it a little higer.

This is the part that I think is wrong, is this supposed to be attached to the top of my coolant overflow tank or the bottom? because it's full of coolant but has nowhere to go because the bottom is blocked off.

Here is where the hose that is attached to the top of the coolant overflow tank goes.

Another blocked off tube but in the diagram from greddy it shows to either be blocked off or have a hose going to something written in Japanese ha ha ha

The other hose goes to the top of the radiator

The bottom of the tank goes to the lower radiator hose which is correct according to the diagrahm

I have never seen a two tank radiator overflow before, or maybe I just never noticed it. I would run the line from the radiator cap to the bottom of the bigger canister. Being a sealed system as it expanded to the overflow tank it fills it then as the temp drops so does the volume of water causing a suction back of overflowed water. If you feed it in the top, it will not feed back. At first I thought the other tank was for an oil breather tank. Interesting set up. And I personally would never run a smaller line to the radiator like you did. That looks like a connection for an after market water temp sending unit. Just some food for thought. Nice clean install and parts.

Looking at this image here, it shows you attach that all of your lines should be hooked up. You are correct that you need to run that line to the bottom of the overflow container because the one they show in that image attaches to the top however that style overflow has a straw running to the bottom of the overflow bottle where it is able to pick up coolant.

Your setup should be hooked up like this.
Bottom of Swirl pot to the lower radiator hose attachment.
Very top nipple of swirl pot to the bottom of the overflow tank.
The one you have plugged should be running to a nipple that you put in place of the bleeder screw.
The one below/next to the plugged one should be running to the top of the radiator neck as it looks like it is.

Just leave that top line of the Circuit sports overflow tank open or run a line to a desired spill spot somewhere, but i would recommend not doing that since coolant is slippery etc. Just keep the overflow at around 1/2 full - 3/4 full.

supposed to run a dummy cap on the top of the rad

the top of the rad to one entrance on the swirl pot

then one from your bleeder valve on the balance tube to the other inlet of the swirl pot

you have the lower hose hooked up correctly

move the swirl pot higher then your motor ie the top of the strut tower

Okay....question...I personally have been seeing these pop up but have no idea on the purpose...well a vague idea. Can someone please explain the purpose of this. Also what did you mean by "dummy cap". Sorry to sound dumb on this subject but any insight would be much obliged...Knowledge is power
