So I work at a Acura dealership and we sell this product called Aquapel- made by PPG. The porters clean the windshield, front side windows, exterior mirrors and apply the product on the glass for approx 30 bux I belive....

Anyways I had this product on my Maxima for a while now but I had never really put it to any big test like I have tonite on my Q45. I got a hold of the product from the distributor who sells them to us for free to try out and he gave me a few samples to try out. Well we had some really strong rain today here in Chicago at nite and I was FINALLY able to see how good this product is. Compared to RainX there are no ill side effects and it lasts about 3-4 months on glass that is not too heavily pitted from rocks etc.

In the downpour on the I290 I was able to drive safely at 70MPH making sure I do not hydroplane with my windshield wipers completly OFF. The water was just shooting off the windshield like someone was blowing it off with a really strong drier. People where pulling over due to the rain as their wipers where not keeping up with the rain, but I kept on going. I highly recomend it !

They have it in the Tire Rack.

Not cheap, but not too expensive either. If it works, I'd pay the 8 bucks.
