Did anybody ever seen this? I think it looks real great. It also has JDM Mitsubishi vtec in it.

neat, I'm waiting on Porsche to drop their VTEC motor on us, sure to be bad.

Too bad we don't have Ferrari style motors in other stuff yet, wonder how the reliability is on them anyway though...

i don't think it's a VII, the VII was the one in the craptastic 2fast2furious, this is a mirage, so if the guy converted it to a LanEvo, it's probably III or IV

It's mivec. its a mirage, or mabye now you can call it a lancer (not evo).

I wouldn't mind having a 4g92 mivec, but probably more worth the trouble of swaping a 4g63T. either way i dont like FWD but it's diferent.

that's the body style of the Evo III-VI. Definately not a VII. It says in the auction its a Evo V front fascia. Before they brought over Evolutions I was thinking about getting a Mirage and swapping the front and engine cause I love those cars so much... of course that was completely unrealistic and way too expensive. Plus I have a 240 now.. much better

I agree, i think its a well done car. i would buy it if it were a little faster. I think its good he didnt go with a big wing and a gawdy body kit. that and its all one color.

I still think the EvoV was the best looking one.

IT ACTUALLY WOULDN'T BE THAT EXPENSIVE TO DO, YOU COULD GET THE LANCER FOR LIKE $5-7000 + SHIPPING THEN ALL YOU NEED IS THE DONOR CAR. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY HE DIDN'T DO THE AWD CONVERSION, TO ME ITS NOT WORTH IT UNLESS YOU DO THE WHOLE THING.

ITS THE MIVEC ENGINE SO ITS N/A. I WOULD HAVE JUST BROUGHT IN THE 274HP TURBO 4G63. PLUS HE BOUGHT THE CAR LIKE THAT, I'M GATHERING.

The Lancer in 2F2F wasn't actually an Evo. It was poseing as a USDM Lancer Evo which is the equivilant of a Lancer Evo VIII in JDM.:icon18

so the JDM LanEvo VIII is different than the US Lancer Evolution VIII, cuz they definitly look different, specially in the grill.

Well, I read an article about it, Mitsubishi is calling the USDM Evo just that, with no VIII after it. But it is supposed to be the same car as the JDM Evo VIII (aside from some safety and emission differences). I personally haven't compared the two yet though. I do know that the one in 2F2F was just a regular lancer made up to look like an Evo.
