OK, Joe and Matt convinced me to do the DWS on the 08 G35X!
Got prices at my local Modern Nissan of Lake Norman in Huntersville NC.

Right now, buy 3 get 1 for 1 dollar thru the end of the month.

Don't know if this is a national campaign or just local.
DWS was on the list as well as some Yoko's.
Anyway, $550 OUT THE DOOR!!
I believe that the Envigors would have been about the same.

My tires are wearing just fine, so thinking of skipping the alignment, what do you guys/gals think? :gotme

That is a great price! I wouldn't mess with the alignment if it's good...

Wasn't going to, but when I dropped it off the advisor said they recommend it with new tires.
Told him that they were wearing fine, but if they could do it for $49 then go for it.
He informed me that they charge $89.
I told him that I knew that, but they had done it for $49 in the past for me.
So, they did it for $49.
So, I accumulated $32 on my Nissan rewards card which should pay for belts for my 04 Coupe!
I also sent off for my free NOOK from Conti for buying 4 tires.
I do not like spending money, but when I do I like to get the most for my $$$ :gapteeth:

I always hated to spend money on things like tires or repairs. If I'm going to put some $$$ in my car, I either want it to look better or go faster. :yesnod

In fact, I usually trade a car before it needs tires. :chuckle: My S2000 ate tires for some reason. I had to put some on Rambo because his were 9 years old. Hardly any wear, but old.

DWS are good all-season tires. Mine are going into the shed soon and won't come back out until winter.

Don't have an extra set of wheels....and really don't have the space for them.
Maybe I will when Rachel moves out!
Could be my spare parts room!! :gapteeth:
Would be nice to have a set of summer tires!!!

SVT, next time I go to buy a car, I'm taking you with me.

Speaking of tires, what is the best site to look for rims?

I do think I got a really great deal on these!!

Tirerack.com has a cool app. for looking at rims on your car.
but, I'm sure there are better sites out there that somebody will suggest.

Thanks SVT. I looked around on that site. The only ones I liked are $750 apiece. :tisk: Champagne taste. You know how that goes.

I have some casino winnings burning a hole in my pocket. Either goodies for the Z or a new Louis Vuitton! :naughty:

After driving an Infiniti, you would hate it in a month. Sure is a good looking car though.

Sorry!
Only 2012 is this one....and it's an 'autotragic'....but, if I need to go test drive if for you, let me know!! :gapteeth:
Test drove a 2013 5.0 the other day and it was surprisingly very nice!!!! With the steering in SPORT mode it was much better than the first 5.0 that I drove. Felt a little stiffer too, but could still use a set of sport springs. 420HP for 30K ain't bad!
Plus the rearend, front end, and hood looks better. And, more importantly the color goes to the ground! No more of that black crap that wrapped around the bottoms of the pre 2013.

Also test drove a 2009 G37X coupe a couple of days ago.....did I mention that I spend too much time on car lots! 33K miles for around $27K

SVT, you are so much more disciplined than I am. I can't go test drive cars. They follow me home. Ask David. I do not go on a lot unless I am totally prepared to buy a car.

One time we had to turn around in a Chevy dealership lot. There was a Camaro sitting there. I told David I wanted to get out and look at it. Salesman came out and asked me if I wanted him to go get the key. I looked at David and told him that if I sat in it, I wasn't going to get back out. 2 hours later we left in it.
