Greasy fingerprints on door frame

OK, a weird question. My wife is a lotion fiend and always seems to have some sort of grease on her hands. I've noticed this has built up on the passenger door frame (the black part along the back side of the window) and can't get it to wash off with regular car wash soap. Any ideas how to remove it? Thanks!

Try isopropyl rubbing alcohol

The alcohol might fade the paint. If you did it once you might be fine but doing it repeatedly may take it's toll.

I used to install auto glass and we would keep some around for cleaning the windshield or door glass to prep for the urethane (alcohol had to evaporate first). Occasionally you would get some kind of dirt or urethane or whatever on the car. The pillars, doors pillars, dash, hood, etc. We would use gasoline to remove the urethane, but I wouldn't recommend that either.

Try glass cleaner. It may work?

if this coating adheres to the same standards as the chemical tests I used to perform on wheels.

Alcohol should be fine with light touch on wiping. but it appears these are just ED, bake coated and do not have the clear coat like wheels have so that might pose a problem later.

i also tested baked coated wheels to and they seemed to hold up fine to most of the testes i performed.

Dont use any alcohol,Use basic Vinegar and water,works great on your windows to,better than any cleaner.
