Hey guys im about to install my new rear ball joints on my car and i have a question about greasing them. i bought the moog ones that are guaranteed for life but you have to top them off with grease every oil change or so.

heres my question do i top them off with grease while the car is on the ground so that the ball joint has a load on it or do it let it sit on the ground for a while then jack it up and top it off. im not sure if its even possible to do it when the car is on the ground but im better off asking anyways.

thanks.

it makes no difference which way you do it. I would do it with the car up so you have access.

the ball joint does not see any difference in load in the static position it shouldn't make a difference either way.
