Brought a project car with a blown head gasket (bad water pump). Replaced it all and I found that the oil is like gray color. I don't know if thats the color it turns when it over heats or what. I don't know what it is, I know all it all seperates (gas and oil) so was wondering if it might be a different problem other than just overheated oil.

did you change the oil after you replaced the head gasket ? if not that is from the coolant mixing with the oil and is normal from a blown head gasket , just change the oil and filter. If this happened after you changed oil and head gasket then you have coolant mixing with your oil and have to find out why.....
