Same here. Been playing GT since 3, and i love it. It lacks an online mode, but hopefully, PS3 will offer it.

Its funny, when i first played the game, i used to love it. It seemed pretty realistic.

GT4 doesnt stretch my pants like it used to, anymore. The physics really arent that great. With all driving aids and traction controll off, you can completley floor it in a high powered car, and youl get wheelspin, but you will go forward in a perfectly straight line, and dont even have to hold the wheel still. Same thing with braking. RWD cars dont really get any oversteer unless they are high powered, or your using the economy tires.

Especially after playing Enthusia, and LFS, GT4 just seems like another arcade racing game (physics wise). If you guys are wondering what enthusia is, its a racing game with VERY realistic physics. Ask rsmithdrift, and he will praise to you about how great it is.

The "career mode" in enthusia, however, isnt that great at all. Theres a lottery system of winning cars and upgrades, and theres no system of money, and is somwhat annoying.

The gameplay in GT4 however, is REALLY fun, especialy with endurance races, and chassis specific races. The massive amount of cars is also fun.

If they could combine GT4 and Enthusia, AND LFS, that would be the ultimate racing game.

Dont know what LFS is? Check out the thread here.

Its really worth downloading the FREE demo, that lets you play online, as long as you want.

Hopefully it'll have damage, or at least an option to turn damage on.

Man I swear Gran Turismo is the best game ever created. I didnt think that they they could make it look any more realistic, appearently I was very wrong. It really lokks like ur there. But like ive said before, graphics aren't everything. I hope the gameplay is even better with more options to the cars. I'm all about stickin to the road and gran turismo sure delivers it. It just SUCKS A$S that I dont have a PS3!! There will never be another game that could even touch the true racing feel of the GT series.

Forza had Ferarri, and Forza 2 has Ferarri and Lamborghini.

Forza Motorsport > GT4

Forza may be a kickass game, but for whats avaliable for PS2, GT4 is one of the best car games.
