how wide are the wheels? didnt they come with 205-45-17? I would think a 225-45-17 will be a bit wide...(if I remember its a 7" wide wheel)

-chet(plus, the stock pirelli is a run flat...)

nice tire, but you should have gotten a 215-45-17, it wouldnt blulge on the wheel as much, or set off your speedo...

also, make sure the people installing them know to seat the beads at 60psi, otherwise you'll get vibe problems and wont know why.-chet

The 215/45-17 would be the largest size we have test fit.

yeah well now i've gotten my car back :( i've got a lil bit of scrubbing in the rears. this is only a problem w/ passengers (1 or more) and it's not too big of a deal, just wheel well lining, but it's ANNOYING AS ****!!!! anyhow, they're under warranty, so saying i cant remedy this issue, i'll just have them replaced for lower profile 225/40/17...after all they claimed i wouldnt have any issues...

We have never done the conversion or any testing on that setup here at The Tire Rack. We have never done any in-house testing on brakes here since there are too many vehicle applications and options to even begin testing.
