So, who else started laughing when they showed that Patrol? Seen that thing so many times. :chuckle: In all seriousness, a good end to a great series. I especially enjoyed the 'surprise reveal' about Hammond.

I just picked up the Grand Tour series on Amazon, but haven't watched all the episodes yet.
How many are they releasing in the first season/series?
I think they are contracted for a total of 36 or 38 episodes (not exactly sure), but I don't know how long each season will be.
If anyone knows, I'd be curious. Thx.

They release a new one every Friday 7:30 PM GMT. This season is over as of this Friday, and Season 2 is in March.

Overall, I'm really happy with it. Same great shenanigans, different name. I think it's also improved from the first episode to the last as well.

What was the surprise reveal about Hammond? I must have missed it (or I just can't remember).

Didn't want to spoil it before, but I will now. Stop here if you don't want spoilers.

How Hammond couldn't drift. Every bit of him drifting on Top Gear was faked.

Ah, got it.
I actually sort of thought back to how I've never really seen him drift (except for this season - a la the hellcat), and it all made sense.
Back on top gear when they were racing vans, he tried to execute a Scandinavian flick and just rolled the van.

Finally got to watch it last night. Super entertaining- even Lindsey likes the watermelon smash with the high speed camera.

Also explains why he brought a truck full of tires with the Hellcat. :chuckle:
