honestly, this game....is just wow, awesome, say goodbye to your other games, cause this will be the only one you play for sometime, its just a matter of time before this forum floods with gta multiplayer threads instead of COD4 nonsense (j/k I love COD4) anywho, it kicks ***, worth every penny, if you havent gotten it yet, get it

Seeing as how most people consider a sharp stick poked in their eye better than Halo 3, it's a good bet that GTA IV is better.

I gave 1 a shot because the girl I was seeing at the time thought it was the best FPS ever made. I hated it. I tried 2 once, I hated it as well. I'll eventually give 3 a chance, but I know the outcome already.

I won't get into the nuts and bolts of why I believe Halo is a crummy shooter that defies logic, but this is a GTA thread (like the umpteenth one so far)

This game is going to be around for a while. The multi player is amazing. It needs to be tinkered a little but nothing some patches wont fix. Played until 4:30 in the morning and just had to put it down because I need it to wake up at 7. Stop hesitating and get it.

Day one sales for this game in the UK are over 600k which is just rediculous, i cant wait to here what this game does in the US, current predictions are 6-9 million world wide :O

LOL what are you talking about? the graphics have been compared by most gaming news outlets and most agree that the 360 version looks mildly better, the controls are all down to personal preference (I like the 360's central thumb stick and larger LT and RT buttons) and I won't even get into the exclusive dlc nonsense

I think you're thinking in units, not sales. It's predicted to possibly hit $400 million in sales. That would be 7 million units.

I'd play Halo 3 anyday over GTA IV. I've never been able to grasp the appeal of the GTA series. The only time it approaches a small morsel of fun is using cheat codes and blowing up cars and running over hookers is only fun for about 10 minutes.

i agree wholeheartedly. just replace halo3 with cod4. i have ps3, so no halo for me. i never could play the gta games
