 I bought a new Dualis in 2013 only to find the GPS was dated 2011.
I requested an update from the Dealer and then from Nissan directly and was told there was an update available at a cost of $550.00. Iam furiously disappointed.
Who can help me?

When specifically was the update released? When did you purchase your car?

I asked because not all GPS data are updated yearly. Some are on 2-3 year cycles and you may have been right on the cutoff for a new release.

I bought the car in April 2013 and the new version was already released

I'd probably go back to the dealership and make a fuss, especially since you bought it after the update. If that doesn't work, take it to Twitter. That tends to get corporate's attention pretty quickly.
