HI,

The GPS in my 2008 G37 is acting up. As I drive it shows me turning 90 degrees and wandering a 1/4 mile off in a few seconds. After 20 seconds or so it returns to the correct position. I repeats every 30 seconds or so.

Has anyone experienced this problem?

Not sure...I'd have the dealer look at it.

Welcome Jerry!

It sounds like you may be loosing your gps signal. I would take it in to get checked out. This is probably just a bad antenna.

Hi All,

Look like it needs a whole new AV/GPS unit in the dash. The parts are on order. I am glad I do not have to pay for this.

I do wonder if the satellites hiccup every once in a while. Mine showed I was about a mile off the coast for about a mile after I started the truck up last week. I thought it just errored completely as the arrow was there and just gridlines over a blue screen, but then as I moved the map around, I saw a small piece of land in the corner with a street name I was familiar with along the coast. Everything seems to be dandy now...

The satellites themselves do get repositioned and have to recalculate time and distance, but there should be enough of them up there that when one is being repositioned and calculated that others should be stepping in to pick up the slack.
