So yesterday down a long stretch a mini, cl55 and myself were tooling along good, and I hit my governer / cutoff in fifth. Now, the speedo said a hair past 120, and my r-vit said peak 109. The r-vit is pulling speed from the ecu. Im running 235/40/17 in the rear, which speed is correct? 91 ka24de manual, stock ecu. Thanks

you should be hitting the governor around 115mph. Between the two of them, I'd say they're both a bit off. The cluster has a margin of error that's acceptable, and the ecu is thinking your tires are the same diameter as stock and will make its calculations accordingly.

Well shat. Thanks for the info. Need to get cracking on my ECU flash. Sad to watch a mini pull away. Will have to check if technosquare or JWT can alter that diameter at the time of the flash. Thanks again

don't roadrace

J/K... knock yourself out, just do it around a bunch of people like me so we can all go that fast and nobody gets hurt. Better yet do it at a track, thats more fun.
