I went to pick up my car today, so i'm on the 10 freeway with my girlfriend and I'm like i'm gonna open this baby up and see if it can do the 137 it's supposed to be able to do. So I redline 4th at about 100mph, shift to 5th, it pulls to about 120mph then pops and stops accelerating for a sec. I thought I broke something at first but it did it again and again. Governer? Why is it so low? I'd expect it to be more like 130 or something. If I get my ECU reprogramed can I have that taken off?

Thanks,

David.

I think the speed limiter cuts in at 115mph, which is 180kms. And yes, if you reprogram your ECU you can get the speed and/or rev limiter taken out.
