Without knowing how large or wide the gouge is, the only thing I could recommend would be to shop around for a colour-matching vinyl repair kit. I'm sure you should be able to find something like that at an auto parts/care shop or a mega-store like Wal-Mart, K-Mart, etc.
When working with a product like this though, you may want to do a test patch and dry it with a hair dryer set on low to see if/how the colour changes as it cures. Also, be aware that temperature extremes within the car can cause cheaper-quality repair materials to crack and/or chip, sometimes making the site of the repair almost as unsightly as the original damage.
Some of the better vinyl repair kits have texture-matching, as well, to make it really difficult to see where the repair was made, if the colour is properly matched.
