I picked up a set of HKS 264 cams the other day, but the engine they came out of had a rocker arm break and gouge the lobe of the cam. Its a gouge probably less than 1/32" deep and probably about as wide, but its noticible. It runs down the center of the lobe, but still parallel with the lobe and only about 1/3" long.

It didn't raise anything on the surface of the lobe so it should still be able to spin on the rocker arm without changing the way the valve opens or closes. Is there any risk to running a cam in such condition? The majority of that side of the lobe is still in perfect shape and I don't see how it would cause a problem since the rocker arm it runs on is so wide.
