haha, my group of friends use to steal those all the time. Whats the point, just to show people look what i got? Or to put it on your bike.LongBeachCoupe wrote:Last pic is a tire valve, which the cap will be stolen off, and then the thief will be shot by the OP lol
That's about one of the lightest 17s you can find. > 10#s lighter than stock.hamandbacon wrote:RPF1 the only enkei i like but 17x7 is really small...really really small. Should have went 19x8 at least. They're light cause its 17's
General Exclaim UHP 225/55 They are very light as well. Only 20 pounds, so my whole wheel assembly is less than 40 pounds. Wootness!dldjros69 wrote:What rubber are you putting on?
The RP-F1 is one of those rare wheels where the design (perhaps because it's Japanese) doesn't allow the OEM TPMS to be installed. I now have a lit warning light but I don't really care. The initial acceleration and braking is way more than worth it. I also have TPMS valve caps that notify me of my tire pressure whenever I do a once-around.dldjros69 wrote:Is that valve tpms ready?
I got them from Vivid Racing for $216.74 each (shipping seperate)One Crazy Max wrote:how much did you pay?
Like beeristasty said, I wanted more rubber and sidewall on the road. I've had 20s (blown on the highway) and 18s so you can't really say I haven't tested around.Just had them installed today. Will post pics in the morning.hamandbacon wrote:RPF1 the only enkei i like but 17x7 is really small...really really small. Should have went 19x8 at least. They're light cause its 17's
agree....saywat wrote:17x7 is hella week dude. shoulda jus kept the stock wheels lol..and i think u couldve picked a way better design
Because he has a 2.5S...this is just an idea...but maybe a cross between the Weight Issue that he has brought up multiple times (He seems VERY happy they are VERY light) and also the wider you go the less MPG you get...the 2.5S means he is MPG consious...so that is just another idea. One Crazy Max wrote:how come you didnt go with a wider wheel say 17x8.5, and go with a 235/50/17 tire.
you wouldve gotten more contact patch, and the width of the wheel wouldve supported the sidewall really well. i wouldve done that if i was getting 17's
17x7 is fine. He can still fit wider then stock tires on the wheels. 225 shouldn't be a problem.michaelthepsycho wrote:Going to get them mount and balanced tommorow .Just that "Made in Japan" tag makes me jizz my pants They're very light too; only 14.6 pounds.
A lot of wheels with that price Advan Racing line up duh 19x9 at exactly 19lbs!mcheddadi wrote:try to find some new 19s that are less than 22~23lbs each and that are less than 2000K$ for all 4 if you can.
Advan Racing line are what I call thin spokes competition rims but yeah whatever i'm done with this.Loop wrote:A lot of wheels with that price Advan Racing line up duh 19x9 at exactly 19lbs!
Not all Advan Racing line are thin spokes, hence I didn't point at one model.mcheddadi wrote:Advan Racing line are what I call thin spokes competition rims but yeah whatever i'm done with this.

Thanks for rolling your eyes at me. Looks like you are having a bad day again. I am curious to what you call your AME FS-01 wheels then? From your definition, they look like competition wheels too.
By the way, Advan's, Enkei, and AME that use the MAT process are built in the same manufacturer.
