Hi everybody, Ever since I got my car, I tried to find ways to make it different. Now, I wish to change the horn. Basically, any 12-Volt horn would do the job... So I came across this on eBay:http://cgi.ebay.ca/CAR-SIREN-H...wItemI really need somebody to talk me out of this one , cause I feel like I'm pushing it too far this time. Ever since one of my friend installed that kind of device on his pimped pick-up, I felt like it was ridiculusly funny .

Anyway, what do you think ?

I'll try and talk you out of it. PA systems were cool about 10 years ago when CBs were the cool thing to have. Now of course, people use cell phones and text messages. Perhaps you could find something a little more modern for your nice 2007 versa.

How about air horns that play"La Cucuracha"? My son had a 1975 164E Volvo so equipped. It caused a few chuckles.

I'd shoot for an old train or steam ship whistle. Something large enough to run the length of the car's roof. Of course you'll need to install a large air compressor or steam boiler to run it...

they make train horn setups you can purchase...but they get tired after a little while. I just got a high and low note out of a caddy to give the horn some Oomph. Bolted right up and it makes the versa sound like it has some balls to it instead of the puny horn that comes factory.

What's wrong with the horn that came with the car? Some mods I can understand but modding a horn just seems like a mod for mod's sake. Whatever you change your horn to you'll be tired of in no time anyway. Just leave it I say.
