ugh...of coarse your 20g does better on a 4 cylinder motor. that's what it was designed for....you're comparing a 4 pulse engine to a 6 pulse which can run that turbo out of it's efficiency range alot easier. not to mention...as others have said...YOU DON'T HAVE A TRUE CUSTOM TUNE!!!! 3 degrees of timing or a half point of fuel can make a night and day difference.

your dislike of the rb motors has no effect on us and does not bother us. your evaluation of the motor is not justified though. correct your issues with it when you get to it, then come back and give a fair evaluation.

20G is just another small turbo its small on anything

you obviously dont have the knowledge required to tune or build these cars so why dont you take it somwhere to have it "fine tuned" on a real EMS system ditch the gay log manifold RB's come with and put a real turbo on it and it will make you 500whp dreams...

RB's are far from end all... for gods sake mod to mod... my H22a honda made more power at the same boost with same turbo...

some of the people that replyed back have no idea what they are talking about, a ported td06 20g can flow just as much as gt3071r

garret gt3071r-------- 694 max CFMgreddy td06 20g ---- 685 max CFM

If you have no way to log data, tour tune is not going to be optimal. It will be conservative at best. It makes you look like a dumba$$ for complaining that you can't get the power our of the RB25 that many before you have created. A better option would be to create a thread asking hmm why doesn't my RB feel fast. Give that a shot next time instead of whining about it.

ummm....still no comparison to a 500-600 hp turbo. i'm pretty sure most of us know what we're talking about. u sure you understand the comparison being made?

I dont think you get it, many regular normal car people have made over 500+ AWHP with this turbo, its capble of putting out enough .

There is a local guy running similar or close to the same greddy td06 on a 1jz and and made 520whp( I gave this as an example because the only person I know still running a 20g) , This thread is about this guys shotty tune, no matter how much he will not admit that a AFC is junk and not for "fine" tuning. I bet if he was to leave it the way it is and install an EMS put the car on a dyno and do a few baseline pulls and log it , the true story would be told.

Hes running it at only 14psi also. I ran my 20g@ 23psi on pump gas and 30 psi on a mix , I know every set up is different , but hes barley pushing that turbo.

This thread makes me want to :puke:.

But it does have some good choice quotes.

First, start doing actual data-logging to build a base-line. AFC's are not for tuning. A four-stroke engine is a four-stroke engine, regardless of make.
