IDK, I think San Diego cops are just more lenient than cops in the rest of SOCAL!MorningViewCoupe wrote:I've got tickets for tint like 5 times. Two times for having tinted taillights. Exactly - this is why 35% tint sold as being legal is false since the vast majority of cars come with a small amount of tint from the factory. The percentage only applies to the tinit and not the window its applied to.jdeb101 wrote:Dont forget your windows have a slight factory tint to them, so adding aftermarket tint on top of that may make the reading more than what you had put on.

PLaza Bonita is in National city, not San Diego..... Nigt and day diffference between the populace in those two areas. Again, not stating that San Diego is all roses, but in certain areas of the city (Downtown LaJolla, Hillcrest, etc) there are few cops to be seen. And the ones that are there seem like they have better things to do than bother folks about tint and what not.RaiderKID wrote:

so when he walks up to a car that is completley tinted dark and the window is up they roll down the window and put 2 in his chest and take off because he couldn't see in? wow that really seems like a law just made for profit for them.b88dragon wrote:yea...but it was like 3am in the morning and he had a light beaming like no other. been researching about tint laws and how to fight it in mass. i mean honestly, $250 for tinted windows? read up somewhere it was a safety hazard for police, but i really believe its a bullsh*t excuse to make money off of us. Do you happen to know if this will increase my insurance points?
and your committing a felony by pulling some insurance fraud so our rates go up because of people like you. I hope you get caught Billy Hoangb88dragon wrote:hey jdeb101, im around the quincy area and gonna be getting my tints remove today, and see if this tint shop i know can get the insurance to pay for it all ^_^.
Seriously. After seeing what he and Ace2Cool dug up on that other scammer in Gen Chat a few months back I have been a bit scared of the two.XenonSE-R wrote:Have fun dealing with the hitman, billy
