($1,058.00!!)8/04 - brakes and rotors (pads used were bendix metallic)11/02 - body work front drivers fender r&r, front bumper r&r. etc.
OKOKOKOKOKOK so obviously what can we tell? THE CHAIN GUIDES HAVEN'T BEEN CHANGED. so where is the car? in the shop. getting new brakes (i'm getting a price tomorrow on a few different options, from OEM on down to wagner) and fresh oil (mobil 1, yo) and a price on the chain guides.
and it's getting a transmission flush/filter change. cause the dreaded cold 2-3 delay has creeped up... and i'm hoping a fluid change will help it. probly gonna go with full synth transmission fluid.
yes i am getting the chain guides done very soon as well... but i need to find a shop that doesn't go "uh you need to take the engine apart to check the guides" when i ask them to check the guides.
so does anyone know any NE ohio shops that know about this stuff? i know there's a 300zx TT guy who runs north shore racing, but i haven't heard back from him.
anyway i'm hoping if i take care of these issues (brakes, transmission, chain guides) the car should be solid for, oh, 6 months? please advise......-chris
