yep, ups delivered my zeal function coilovers i bought on ebay today, and within 15 mins after they got here, i started dissasembling the old suspension. installation was very smooth, every one of the bolts came off no problem, and since they were used.. the camber for they were already set pretty good, except for the rear, which has the dampening a little too soft...

the coilovers came without adjustment equipment, so i had to improvise when setting the ride height, which still isnt perfect, but good enough. also, when i try and set my dampening in the rear, i turn the bolt on the top of the tower clockwise, but there is no click? it seems to get stiffer, but theres no way of telling what its set at... so i just counted how many turns i screwed it on. it seems to make it somewhat stiffer, but that doesnt sound right to me. maybe when i take it to the performance alignment shop they can tell me whats up.

i have the ride height now set at 2 fingers in the rear, 3.5 in the front, and its slightly higher in the front left, which i'll fix later.. im too tired right now.

i'll take some pics in a few days and post them up if anyones interested.

:D

i remember helping my friend drop his s14.. in the HOT HOT spring/summer weather. we had to stop every 15 minutes because the sun was killing us. let us know how it handles too... im thinking about coils nowadays.... or at least dreaming of them

yeah, i adjusted it further and now i think i got it pretty even for temporary purposes. down to about 2 in the front and 1.5 in the back.

handling is great, definitely better than before, and i dont mind the ride at all. paired with my swaybars, the only movement on the car whenyou try to shake it is the weak *** tires. those need to go :(
