Over the winter i did some engine work, hence no hood on the car at the moment..

More importantly.. installed my new KYB AGX struts and Eibach Sportline springs. Only the front so far, but wow.. what a difference it makes in the cars appearance..

Stock suspension.

New Suspension.

I've got some rubbing issues against the new struts.. hoping a small 5 mm spacer will work.. they only rub when turning.

Looks good so far Seth. That RB20 looks pretty damn good in that engine bay.

When are you doing the coupe doors conversion? I don't remember seeing a write up on that subject.

Oh and Volks FTW! Glad to see someone willing to dish out money for them.

Thanks guys!

I need to clean up the engine bay a bit, but a straight six certainly does look like it belongs in that engine bay.

I've got the coupe doors in the garage... but I'm not sure when I'll get to that project. I've also got a silvia conversion waiting in the wings as well.. but both sets of parts need some minor body work and new paint... So until I've got some money available for paint, I don't want to install either.

Yeah.... I love my Volks! I got a fantastic deal on them.. otherwise i never would have been able to pony up for a set of Volks. I think they go for $595 per wheel or something nuts like that for new ones.

Good call.. I was going to suggest RBmotoring.. Those are nice.. 17x7 and 17x8 with pretty nice offsets.. very nice wheels!

Mine are 18x8 +31 and 18x9 +43. I just wish I had a little lower offset on the rears.

Heh...what about tires though? Another 800?

Hmm....how much would do you think a complete repaint, or at least four or drive points for touch up would cost? I know you're gonna say "call some people, ho", but maybe one of you knows a ball park from personal experience?

Tires aren't cheap when you start getting into the larger sizes. I think getting used ones from craigslist with 50%+ tread left is your best bet.

D.I.Y. on the paint - Interlux Brightside boat paint, rollers, brushes, w/d sandpaper, compounds, etc. will set you back less than $100.
