s13 sr into s13 240sx?? How long did install take? What problems did you have? How much total would u say you've spent to get it running? Have u dynoed it? Did u need to replace the clutch?

The swap wasn't too hard by itself lot of bloody knuckles though..i tried to take a short amount of time doing the swap but ended up finishing about 3-4 weeks later..only because i had the wrong ignitor i think it coulda been done in two weeks..that's workin 4-5 hours on the weekends wiring wasn't too hard. it probably costed me about 3200 all together..so don't do what i did and buy a front clip and do it that way..it probably makes things a hell of a lot easier.

What did you get from Wayne?Didn't you buy your engine from jspecauto? Maybe their engines aren't so bad after all. How much did you pay for the engine and what was it missing? I still wouldn't buy from them, I'm just curious.

Ah, now I know why I am just now getting my harness, lol, I'm going to pick it up later today, the harness that came with my engine was cut, so he is giving me a new harness for free. You got my harness, you @$$hole!! I'm j/j. Waynes cool with me, I would only be pissed if my car was ready to go and I had no harness. Congrats on your car.... I'll join the club eventually, just seems like it's taking forever.

I was gonna drop in my SR later this week. I finally got all the parts I needed and was ready to go. Then a redneck in a pickup truck ran a stop sign and now my car is totaled.

THIS BLOWS!!

It just happened on the wednesday before thanksgiving, and with the long weekend I haven't be able to get in touch with his insurance yet. The car will be totaled but I don't know what is gonna be covered under the insurance. I don't even know if insurance will cover modifications, even if the accident was 100% his fault. I have a feeling I'm gonna have to go to court for this one, but I'll see what the insurance co's first offer is.

I plan on greeting the appraiser with all my receipts for the modifications that have been done on the car. My receipts total up to about $3,500 for the suspension/breaks/wheels/tires, and about $1500 for the stereo system which may or may not have been fried when my battery was chrushed. Maybe i'll even throw in stuff for the SR swap that I have receipts for but haven't installed yet:), maybe even throw in the receipt for my SR engine.

I'm gonna talk to my lawyer on monday and see what he says. I also have to see exactly what has been damaged and what can be saved. If there is no damage to any of the mod parts I'll just get another 240 and then swap all the parts into that one, maybe even see if the insurance will pay for the labor.

I'll start a thred when I get some more info. I'm sure people who have a lot of work done to their car would be interested see how an accident that is 0% your fault is settled.

His company should be paying you out the ***. That's what happened to my brother. If his insurance doesn't pay, sue them, its that easy. But they will pay, probably totalling your car out+some/all of your modifications.

Where in Jersey are you located? There are two S13 coupe, 5-spds for sale by me...just to let you know.
