Gotham Grey with Black Interior, SL AWD, Premium Package, Moon Roof with Deflector, Leather Package, Rear Bumper Protector(it was missing, but they promised to install it). Do you guys have the leather wrapped shift knob? I don't see any leather on he shift knob!

It is 27850 out of the door. What do you guys think?? Fair deal or did they rip me off?

The Nissan USA website show photos of the leather interior. The shift knob has a textured leather insert. Non-leather models have a soft plastic insert that is dimpled like a golf ball.

Click on 'Interior Photos' then select the second thumbnail photo showing the shifter on the bottom. If you scroll through to the last photo, there is a shot of a red/black cloth interior showing the standard plastic insert.

After viewing this picture, I don't have the leather shift knob insert, I have the golf ball looking one. I have the light grey leather interior. Can anybody else post their pictures of the shift knob with the leather interior? I'll look in the photo thread in the meantime.

Thanks!

Same here - Irridium Graphite SL AWD with gray leather and golf ball - like insert. It doesn't look like that one in Nissan picture at all. I still believe that a leather wrapped shift knob was supposed to be part of the package?

My Rogue is the same color combination as yours and my shift knob leather matches the leather of the seats, red backing on black leather. This is specified on the window sticker under "Leather package", item two. Your price seems about right. Mine, out the door, was around $27400 without deflector or bumper protector. Iowa taxes and license would, of course, be different. No trade-in was involved.

A leather wrapped shift knob appears is listed in the specs on both the Nissan USA and Nissan Canada websites. Maybe we are onto something here?

Of course, that particular picture also shows 'Auto' on the climate control which we know was not implemented. I've got an appointment on Thurs. with the service manager to look at the door/weatherstripping issue so I'll find out from them then.

But if you look in the manual, it clearly says that with leather package, you get a leather wrapped shift knob!

If they advertise it, they HAVE to install it.

I have a fully-loaded SL AWD, Gotham with Black/Red leather, and I have the "golfball" shifter. Hmmm...

I'm thinking someone goofed when they wrote the specs... hence the 'specifications subject to change without notice'.

Upon closer inspection, it might be leather. if you look under the release button on the knob, there is some stitching. It may be that they kept the same design as the plastic insert.
